Due to the expected snow accumulations and widespread impacts this evening and overnight, Wheaton R-III Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 3. This will be an AMI day for students. Teachers will be providing assignments. Additional information about Friday will be sent at a later time. Please stay safe and warm!
Wheaton R-III Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday February 2. With the uncertainty in timing for the incoming weather system, we are erring on the side of caution so we do not have parents, staff, student drivers and school buses on questionable roads. The Wheaton School District would like to thank Security Bank in Cassville for their generous donation to our Special Education Department! This donation will be used to provide uniforms and equipment for our students who participate in Special Olympics. Thank you SO MUCH Security Bank for supporting our local schools!
