The Wheaton R-III School District will be closed on Friday, January 10, 2025 due to winter weather forecasts and potentially hazardous roadways. This will be AMI Day #1.

As we move into the second semester of the 24-25 school year, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of consistent attendance for our students.
The second semester is when we begin to build upon the foundational skills taught during the first semester. This is a critical time for students, as missing even a few days can make it harder to keep up with the new material. It’s essential that students are present and engaged in class to fully grasp the concepts that will be applied in upcoming lessons and assessments.
We understand that life happens, but we truly want your child to be here with us, learning and growing every day. Your continued support in ensuring that your child is present, on time, and ready to learn makes all the difference. It is helpful to call the office at 417-652-7240 to let us know the reason your child is not here. Not all absences are able to be excused, but we are a team and want to work alongside you!
