
Mercy will be on campus May 14th for any student wanting to participate in Sport Physicals. Students will need to bring their insurance card or a copy of the front and back of it. The MSSHA form needs to be filled out and signed by parents prior to the day of the physicals. Paperwork is available in the HS Office or from Coach Lash.

District Softball games have been moved to May 3rd, starting @ 2:30.

Seniors Wyatt Gorman & Catherine Yang were crowned the 2024 WHS Prom King & Queen at this year's prom held at the Monett Park Casino on April 27th. Our prom committee did a wonderful job with planning the evening where students and guests were treated to some yummy sweets and snacks and had a great time on the dance floor. #Prom2024 #WHSDogs

We welcomed our newest member into the Wheaton, Bower-Rutledge National Honor Society Chapter yesterday afternoon, congratulations to Joseph Thang!

Wheaton Kindergarteners had a fun filled day on their field trip! First stop was US Pizza, students made their pizza, toured the pizzeria's kitchen and had their own pizza dough to toss! After lunch, a stop for ice cream at Sweet Scoops! Students enjoyed a sweet treat and learned about all the different ingredients that go into making ice cream. Kindergartners rounded out the day at The Railway Park for some much needed play time!

Schedule Update: Baseball vs. Billings and Softball vs. Miller will be played at Wheaton on Wednesday, April 24th.

Our 2nd Grade students enjoyed going to Wonders of Wildlife for their yearly field trip. Throughout the day we had fun looking at all the different creatures in the aquarium, riding the escalator, and touching the starfish in the water table . To end the day we quickly walked through the wildlife museum where we saw deer antlers, penguins, and bears before getting on the bus to head back to Wheaton. We hope you enjoy the highlights of our day!











JR/SR students and staff are invited to the Wheaton Prom this Saturday at the Monett Park Casino from 7 to 11 pm.


Also receiving the FFA State Degree was Zander Dutra who was not in attendance.

Several Wheaton FFA members attended the 96th Annual Missouri FFA Convention in Columbia, MO. Teams competing were Poultry, Dairy Foods, & Dairy Cattle. Over 1000 FFA State Degrees awarded in last night's ceremony, 5 of which were for our chapter members: Houston Roller, Trevor Wright, Wyatt Gorman, (Blake Morgan & Devin Bateman were not in attendance).


Reminder: Friday, April 19th school will not be in session for a three-day weekend. Let's finish strong; only 19 more days of school after the break!


A few of our FBLA members attended the State Leadership Conference today! Leo Millan-Gomez finished in 9th place for Business Law, five others competed in their respective events. We're very proud of our chapter's achievements this year! #WHSDogs
