We are excited to be hosting our Spring Title 1 Math Night on Thursday, April 13th, from 5:30-7:30. We are combining this night with a carnival! This combined event will be held in the gymnasium and lobby and we will be serving walking tacos for free. We will have Kona Ice selling snow cones in the parking lot, and lots of games and activities. We will utilize a punch card for our games. Each game will cost 1 punch on that card, and we are selling the cards at $5 for 10 punches, or an unlimited card for $10. We also have discounts available for families purchasing for multiple kids. The Kona Ice, and our cakewalk are at an additional cost, not included in the punch card purchases. We hope to see you and your family for this fun night!

Congratulations to the 2022-2023 Wheaton R-III Support Staff of the year! Amber Schlessman, elementary and Kristi Dunlop, JH/HS. These ladies work extremely hard and love our students! Thank you for all you do! You are greatly appreciated!

This year we are offering physicals at school for grades 3rd-11th, on April 28th. The Mercy team will be on site and screening students starting at 8:30 A.M. We would like to be ahead of the game and get everyone up to date with their physicals to be ready to go for athletics for the 2023-2024 school year.
Packets were sent home with all athletes in 3rd-11th grade on Monday, March 27th. The front page of the packet gives instructions on what parents/guardians need to complete in order for your child to receive a physical. If the student has Medicaid, the physical will be free. If the student is covered by insurance, the insurance will be billed, and copay will be billed to the parents if applicable. If the student is self-pay (no insurance or Medicaid) the cost of the physical is $36. If a student needs help covering the cost of a physical, our Care to Learn Chapter, can help with that. Please contact Ms. McFall or Coach Lash for questions about Care to Learn.
If you have any questions concerning physicals, please contact Coach Lash at slash@wheatonschools.org or you may call the high school office.
