In Miss Davis' 2nd Grade class we learned that the truffula trees are very important in Dr. Seuss' book, "The Lorax". The students then used their STEM skills and knowledge to create their own Truffula tree. We had some tall trees and some small trees, but they all held the truffula at the top.

The last boys home game against Southwest (Washburn) has been moved to Saturday at 1:00. At this game, the boys basketball team will be hosting a Silent Auction to raise funds for their summer team camp costs. Please bring cash or check and be prepared to bid on your favorite items! Today was a busy day in Miss Davis's Class! This morning the students used their STEM knowledge to make editable cars. The students enjoyed making their own creation and figuring out how to make the axles and wheels work. Then this afternoon, it was time for our Valentine's Day party. The students had fun passing out valentines, playing bingo, and doing a Valentine's Day brain break. Take a look at some of the highlights of our day!

FFA Week is Coming!
Friday is Homecoming at Wheaton High School! We have a busy day planned celebrating our Homecoming court! Coronation will begin at 5:30 and game time is at 6:00. Game order will be Boys Varsity, followed by 2 quarters of JV. High School Dance will follow. Arrive early to find your seat and grab a 50/50 ticket from the Boys Basketball program for a chance to win half the money raised!
