At approximately 10:35 AM today, the Wheaton R-III School District campus entered a soft lockdown in response to law enforcement activity in the area. During this time, all students were kept in their classrooms conducting normal classroom activities.

The law enforcement operations conducted were not related to any school functions, and did not otherwise impact our campus. We would like to thank local law enforcement officials for keeping open lines of communication with the district to ensure student safety while conducting official business.

REMINDER
JR High Girls & Boys basketball will have a short meeting tomorrow Monday August 18 @ 3:30 PM in the gym. Practice will start Tuesday August 19th. This is for any 6th,7th and 8th grade boys/girls who are interested in playing basketball. We look forward to getting started! Go Bulldogs!

Student Registration Forms are now live on the Lumen Parent Portal!

Please contact your building office if you have any trouble accessing or completing these forms. Staff will also be available to assist at Open House on Thursday, August 14th from 5:00-7:00 PM.

The Wheaton R-III School District will be implementing online enrollment forms for returning students starting in the 2025-2026 school year. In order to access these online forms, parents will need access to their Lumen Parent Portal. Elementary (PK-5) parents will have this information provided to them at Open House (August 14, 5:00-7:00 PM). JH/HS (6-12) parents should contact the high school office for this information if they do not already have it.

Forms will be available via the parent portal on Monday, August 11th. The Free and Reduced Lunch Application will also be available online on that date. If you have any questions about these forms, please contact your building office.
