
Last week, Miss Davis’s 2nd grade class learned about the different states of matter in Science. Then on Friday we put our knowledge to the test and identified the matter that was located in the root beer floats that the students made. They identified that the ice cream was a solid, the root beer was a liquid, and the foam that was created was a gas.

HS Baseball games vs. Northeast Vernon County on October 5th have been cancelled and will not be made up.

Our Cross Country team is celebrating because there will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 6th! It is a Professional Learning Day for staff. Friday will also be Senior Night for our Volleyball girls, JH Basketball will travel to Hurley and our XC team will be competing at East Newton on Saturday. #WHSDogs

Drop off reminders: Pre-K students will be dropped off on the west side of the elementary building. Parents enter from Main St. to drop their Pre-K student(s).
Older students (K-12) will be dropped at the new cafeteria. Vehicles enter off of McCall St and exit the same way.
