Today Miss Davis' 2nd Grade Class finished up Dr. Seuss Week by making some "Dr. Seuss Soup". All ten ingredients in the soup came from some of Dr. Seuss' favorite books. The students enjoyed reviewing the books as they personalized their own soup to eat. Some of the students favorite ingredients were Green Eggs and Ham, Hop on Pop Popcorn, and the Truffula Seeds.

In Miss Davis' 2nd Grade class we learned that the truffula trees are very important in Dr. Seuss' book, "The Lorax". The students then used their STEM skills and knowledge to create their own Truffula tree. We had some tall trees and some small trees, but they all held the truffula at the top.

The last boys home game against Southwest (Washburn) has been moved to Saturday at 1:00. At this game, the boys basketball team will be hosting a Silent Auction to raise funds for their summer team camp costs. Please bring cash or check and be prepared to bid on your favorite items! Winners will go home with their items at the end of the night.

Today was a busy day in Miss Davis's Class! This morning the students used their STEM knowledge to make editable cars. The students enjoyed making their own creation and figuring out how to make the axles and wheels work. Then this afternoon, it was time for our Valentine's Day party. The students had fun passing out valentines, playing bingo, and doing a Valentine's Day brain break. Take a look at some of the highlights of our day!
